DJ BLAK MAGIC Interveiw with Marsha Ambrosius

R&B / Soul singer Marsha Ambrosius was recently in Atlanta headlining the BET Music Matters Tour.  The sold out concert was held at Center Stage and also featured R&B singers Melanie Fiona and Anthony David.  BET said they chose these artist for the tour because simply their music matters.  Anthony David opened the show performing songs off of his new album “As Above So, Below” getting the ladies warmed up for the night.  Melanie Fiona performed second and hit the stage with a high energy performance, singing songs from her debut album as well as a cover of the song “Ironic” by Alanis Morrisette off of her upcoming album.  Marsha Abrosius,  who performed last, started off her set with the song “I Hope She Cheats On You (With A Ball Player)”.  You can say it was a duet with the audience because every woman in the building was singing the lyrics along with her.  Marsha performed other songs off of her new album as well as the classics she recorded when she was in the group Floetry. After the show I had a chance to sit down and talk with her.  In the interview she talks about her new album “Late Nights & Early Mornings” , a Floetry Reunion and working with Michael Jackson.  Check out the Interview below:
